I made a different post about creative learning back in 2020 that I recommend checking out if you want more in-depth info on creating your space. That post and those pictures are from our home back in Oregon however and I wanted to give an updated look at our space here in Alaska.
I didn’t go into creating this kind of environment with a clear vision of what I was doing, but in hindsight, I realize that we created exactly the kind of space I always wanted growing up. Filled with a range of supplies-office, art, recycled, etc. that can be used at any time for explorations, experiments, and creative inspiration.
Being able to provide my children with the freedom to try things, take chances, get messy, and express themselves without constraints or judgement has truly been a gift.
If you have any questions about anything you see or just homeschooling in general, please reach out or leave a comment.
I’d love to hear from you :)
